Hi, can i use my Magix Video Saver Version 4.0 on my Imac?
The girl who sold it to me said I could use it on my iMac... or do you have a separate Magix for Mac?
Can i use the cables and downloade the Mac comatible softwear?
When I insert the CD and open, it do not ask for serial number

This is a user forum not magix support or sales.
On the box, if it does not say it is supported by the MAC Operating System (MAC OS) then the answer is no it will not work on a MAC. I think you will find that the supported OS's are Windows only - here are the system requirements for the latest version (7).
The version you have bought is an older version - I would suggest you return it to the shop as they have mis-sold you a product which is not suitable for the iMac
MAC versions are available for some programs and are listed in the Magix website.

Yes you can, however you will have to pay for the software again and depending on which one it will come with the cables etc you already have.
