Magix video edit 17 pro plus - how to avoid arranger returning to beginning of video

Hi, Forgive me if I've missed the correct page in the manual.

I place a video clip in the arranger window and select in and out points - I then place the clip on the timeline but as soon as I do that, the cursor returns to the beginning of the video in the arranger. I'd prefer the cursor to remain where I left it I order to select another clip further along the video.

How can this be done ?

I'm used to Sony Vegas 9 and Adobe premier so there are bound to be slight differences :)

Thanks, but...

I've already set those settings and the timeline stops where you left it - as expected.

It's the arranger transport control window where the timeline marker returns to the beginning, not the main timeline.

I've managed to answer my own question - the problem was solved by installing the latest patch 10.0.10.2

the timeline cursor now stays where I left it in the arranger window - this makes editing so much easier.

Thanks Max for your quick answer.
