Hello eveyone, can some one help me reactivate my codec. I was under the assumption that I did not need to buy it. I try to get an activation code and i get an error message and to try at another time. Please help. thank you .
Hi Michael, and welcome to the user to user forums.
There are no Magix staff on the forums to help with things like giving you a new activation code.
Whether you need to buy the H265 codec or not depends on which program you have and the code should have come with the email with the other activation codes I assume..

A thought has occurred to me.
You said 'Reactivate' meaning you have reinstalled the program?
If so you will have to email Magix at infoservice@magix.net and request a new activation code. You will have to have your original details of the codec when you first received it, such as the order number that came with the email. Without a proof of purchase you won't get a new activation code.
They may then send you a new activation code. That does not always happen depending on how many times you have asked for a new code and possibly how old the program is. I have managed to get three activations after which I was told it was not longer possible without buying a new licence. Magix do not own the codec but have to pay for the licences. I don't think they make much if any profit on that.
