Magix store no longer showing VST instruments to buy

Peter-Wicher wrote on 3/14/2022, 6:34 AM

I went to the store and clicked on VST instruments, but nothing is showing up. I checked it a couple days ago and still had a list showing up of all the instruments I could possibly buy, and now I'm getting nothing. I'm using MMM 2022 Premium edition, and I was hoping to buy a handful of new instruments. What's going on?

@Peter-Wicher I also noticed that the store is missing the instruments since at least Friday. There are also bought instruments missing in my Download tab so I couldn't reinstall them if I hadn't backed up the installers. I would guess there is some problem in the store server backend that causes this.

Hi

Have the VST's appeared in the Store for you?

If not ensure that the Search box is truly empty - click the X alongside it to fully clear any characters that were entered - after a search using the backspace or delete key to clear the search parameter box may not clear it correctly.

I'm using MMM Premium 2022. There's no X that pops up next to search bar. Store page for VST still empty. Installed Premium 2021 and it's the same thing in the store where nothing shows up. Checked on producer planet and it's just a bunch of synths I've never heard of. Got a feeling it's something on Magix side. Hopefully can be resolved super quick because I am aiming to buy a bunch of instruments as soon as possible.

Nothing showing for me either. However buying the Magix instruments at full price is not good value. Only a few are worth the full asking price. Sales come along fairly regularly. Besides the old days when you could download a bunch of instruments with the Premium Edition I got most of my instruments by buying Samplitude Music Studio as this program actually shares instruments with Music Maker. And I bought a cheaper older version. I assume this still works with Music Maker 2022. I think you get 13 instruments and 12 tiny percussion instruments.

Hi,

Hopefully can be resolved super quick because I am aiming to buy a bunch of instruments as soon as possible.

It may be more cost-effective to get Independence. Wait for a sale.

Hi

. . . . There's no X that pops up next to search bar. . . .

That is good - if and when it does happen it looks like this

Try Cleaning up store in the Program settings, General options tab.

I tried cleaning up the store. Before I did that it only showed three instruments that had updates and one other and the D16 instruments. After cleaning it only shows the D16 instruments. This is with Music Maker 2021. Not that I'm worried.

SP. wrote on 3/15/2022, 6:57 AM

@Graham-Hawker It is the same with Music Maker 2022.

I don't have MM2022 installed. My graphics are not good enough. It is the same in both my Music Maker installations MM2021 and MM2019 which I think was updated to MM2020.

I have the same problem. I don't see any instruments either. only the D16 Group instrument is shown. Hopefully the bug will be fixed soon. .

For me the instruments are showing up again. I had to go into the program settings and click on the button to clean up the store. After Music Maker restarted I logged in and now I can download everything I bought in the past.
