Ive downloadsed the software to my pc when i transfer my vhs sidnal to pc  there is no picture of vhs signal in my software recording box

 

ive got my scart socket connected to my vhs recorder (switched to signal out) through to the video transformer/usb connection to my pc.

im usaing Windows Vista

Please make sure that you see a picture in the preview screen. If not then make sure you have the correct device selected in Step 1. There may be multiple choices for the USB capture device, try switching between them.

 

Also make sure you have downloaded the latest drivers from the Support site.

The latest driver is always helpful, but also make sure that when recording, you have NO

other USB devices attached, and the USB video converter is attached directly to a USB

port on your computer, not even via a hub.

 

Get your tasks down to a minimum, which is always good for performance. Microsoft recommend

a max of 35!. 

 

The above won't per se fix your problem, hopefully the driver will, but it helps performance.

Adhere to the advice given for the installation as well. Should the automatic Windows installer pop up the moment you plug in the USB device, stop it. In the file you have 'unzipped', you will see a setup.exe file.

Run this, ie double click on it and follow the installation instructions which appear.
