I have posted similar question before but this a newer version of magix, i'm running windows 7, intel dual core 3ghz cpu,4gb ram 500gb hard drive ( only just installed windows on it so apart from updates and magix software there is nothing else on drive) and a radeon x1950 graphics card ,i turn the wifi off when using magix and have no other programes running, but when i play back a track(multitrack of sounds) it plays for a bit then crackles then sound cuts out completely, i have the right settings in program settings re play back drivers , i have tried increasing the buffer size(multitrack) and used two different sound devices the tascam us22l and the behringer u control uca222 but i'm still  having the same problem, can anyone help(is there something that i'm  doing wrong ) cheers

OK...I have to ask...

Can you play music, or any other audio, on your computer for "a bit" without the sound going out?  Or, does it ONLY happen when using MAGIX products?

hi,it's only when using magix the systems sounds are fine ,if i playback my tracks with the wave driver it's fine but through the asio driver it distorts and cuts out when playing i tried the asio4all driver to day and the same thing happens and because i need to record while the tracks are playing(wtih keyboard) i need to have the aiso driver selected.
