Magix Movie Editor 2105 Video Playback is Laggy after I updated my antivirus

tein98supra wrote on 4/7/2016, 1:53 AM

Hey all, I was using Magix  Movie Editor 2015 with no issues prior a few days ago. Only change I made was I renewed my anti virus. After I did this my playback video is laggy and choppy.

My computer can more then handle the requirments.

And just downloaded the latest patch as well, and still no luck. What can I do? What type of suggetions can I do to fix my video playback? It makes it hard for me to edit videos this way.

What is your computer specification and Windows version?

Which Anti-virus are you using?

What video format and resolution are the source files?

Hi

Computer spec - you have not given the required information ie:

  • Processor make and model

  • Graphics card or chipset used

  • Hard drive type(s), capacity, and free space.

Kapersky - is this just the anti virus or did you update to the Internet Security 2016 version?

Check your antivrus configuration it may require some changes to allow the processor to have more processing time, or turn off 'On access' scanning if present - see the Kaspersky website support pages.

Video format - is this 1920 * 1080 resolution?
