Hi

First uninstall again then use the Magix Cleaner tool available here to remove any remnants.

Then reinstall MEP, if you are using the download version then after installation download all the additional templates etc - you should find a button on the Welcome screen or under the Help menu to do this. This will give you the following dialog to select the components you need.

Once you have done this you should be up and running OK.

Tip: beware of using Registry Cleaners - they should only be used as a last resort and should be used sparingly - I have seen incidences of them wiping registration setting and files - not just for MEP but other software as well.

The following dialogue box didn't show up, it installed as usual and took me to the dialoogue box which asked to start a new project, open up a project or a movie template nothing else.

I have read this before but I can't seem to do it - I go to the help menu to download the addtiional components but they are not there. All I see under "HELP>Free Downloads is a checkbox for downloading the introductory videos.

Am I looking in the wrong place? How do you get to the welcome screen?

I also downloaded the file under HELP>Download Video Effects Plugins ad then I ran the exe file, and it appeared to install correctly but no new templates, media or effects are visible in my menu.

Any advice on how to install the additional components would be appreciated - thanks!
