The program is starting and stopping with long pauses between moving and non-moving. Also it is not properly accepting text in title editing. I have the latest update 12-27-24
Thank you, Ray, for your help on this. I'm a songwriter/singer/YouTube Vlogger. I use Magic Movie Edit Pro 2025 editing software to produce the videos for my vlog. My computer specs are: Win 11 pro version 23H2 (OS Build 22631.3447) desktop built in 2024, 64Gb ram, 5.0 MHz, 4 TB SSD drive, AMD Ryzen 9, 16-core processor, Graphics card is Nvidia (This is an extreme-build computer.)
My Magix Movie editing version is 24.0.01.221(UDP3).
I am presently in the process of creating a new video for my vlog. I have used the software for many years. I am struggling with the Title Editing which is surprising because I've not experienced this before. In the software, along with the usual images on my first track, is my audio on the second track. Besides the extremely slow stuttering (stopping & starting) of the motion along the timeline, the two tracks (images and audio) are inseparable when it comes to placing the text in the third (and additional) tracks.
When I try to split the image track to edit it, my splitting action invariably includes the audio track. I'm trying to replace some of the images in the image track without splitting or moving the audio track but both tracks are glued together.
Which Nvidia GPU is installed, full name and model please, are its drivers up to date and is the GPU selected in the MMS Program settings, Device options tab, Import, Processing and Export options?
What video format are you importing - the MediaInfo data will help, as was mentioned in the comment that @CubeAce linked to?
In Windows settings, Accessibility, Text cursor, is the Text cursor indicator option turned off, if not turn it off, this is known to cause issues.

Were you usng Vegas Movie Studio VMS), prior to Magix Movie Studio (MMS), if so then MMS 2025 is an entirely different program, Vegas Movie Studio was dropped from development several years ago.
There is a comprehensive list of tutorials here which may help you with the change in workflow and familiarisation.
If you were using an earler version of Magix Movie Studio or Movie Edit Pro, then the only major change has been the combination of the Size & Position effect with the Rotation effect and repositioning of the anchor point to the centre of the title, video or image objects.
Sorry for a late reply. Have been entertaining guests.
I understand you are a musician first and possibly not as technically inclined to know the workings of your machine. That's fine. But to help fault find it may be necessary to know more precisely what we are looking at. It could be a simple change in the software settings will help or a change in the program settings may help.
The specs look promising but to be completely sure, as there are so many variants of the Ryzen 900 series of processors and nvidia graphics cards, could you please find the following information. Exact Processor and video card. Driver version for the nvidia card.
To do that go to Windows / settings / about, and either take a screen shot similar to the one below and blank out device name and product ID. (Not needed and considered personal information) or just type the information I have enclosed in the coloured boxes.
Also right click anywhere on the screen where it is empty and select the Nvidia control panel from the drop down list. Click on Help / System information and take note of the info in the boxes highlighted.
Some Ryzen processors also have inboard GPU chips and some don't. Different nvidia cards have different amounts of ram and bus widths memory speeds etc.
Also what are you using to make the videos? What camera? Make and model number. Any idea what video export settings you are using? HEVC, MP4? They may be labelled as H264 or H265. Any other file type? 4K or HD? Higher? 6 or 8K?
Does the video only stutter where titles are involved?
Are you using the basic titling or using templates? If templates, which ones? Or are you using the New Blue Titler Pro plug-in?
For now try going to the programs settings via File / Settings / Program / and open the Playback tab.
The audio buffer number should be 2. Try increasing the Multitrack and Preview size to say 16384 for both. You can get to that number by pressing the + signs to the right of the current numbers a few times.
Then open the Device options tab and make sure that the Import, Processing and Export settings are all set to use the nvidia card. See that 'dithering for output' is ticked and the video mode is using the Standard Renderer. Press OK to close.

In addition to @Gid comment re ungrouping, an alternative to avoid this, is to put the replacement image on a higher track number and fade it in/out, etc as shown below:
Wow! You gentle men are magnificent! Each of you. I will save your technical instructions, for sure.
Things are definitely improving. The stuttering has decreased by 90%. The Title Editing is now under control.. I've also learned that, during playback, the fades on the video and the audio are not smooth but, when the movie is exported, they work well and as expected.
I'm not promising I will have the time to follow all of your instructions to the "T" and, simultaneously, I know I will benefit for years to come because I am just starting my YT vlog that I know will be a help to a lot of people. You have all given me a leg up on my creative process. Thank you!
I invite you to my site and trust you find something there to inspire and empower you.
