MAGIX Movie Edit Pro 2015 Premium doesn't load up the last few minutes if my mp4 video file. I can play the video separately and everything will play, but MAGIX won't load the last bit. Did MAGIX manage to corrupt my video file (again)?

I have an msi gtx 660 graphics card, 8GB of RAM, and an Intel i5 professor running on a Windows 10 OS.

Hi,

Your machine has the minimum power to edit video. Clean you hard drive and use the minimum running program when you edit video.

How long your mp4 file, contain many transitions or effets.

Regards,

I have over a terabyte left on my hard drive and the mp4 file is only about 30 minutes. It's a recording of myself in front of a green screen with no transitions or anything. All I did was try to open it up in MAGIX and put it on my timeline alongside a screen capture captured by MAGIX

Hi

. . . . It's a recording of myself . . .

What did you use to record the video ie camera, software etc ?

Download and install MediaInfo then:

  • Using Windows Explorer, browse to the folder containing the video file with the problem.

  • Right click the video file and from the pop-up menu select MediaInfo.

  • MediaInfo will open and analyse the video file

  • From the MediaInfo menu bar select View, Tree

  • Then select File, Export Alt+E - this will export the data to a text file.

  • Save the file specifying the folder to save in and the name of the file.

  • In Window Explorer browse to the folder where you saved the file and open it with Notepad

  • Copy the information in the file and paste it into a new answer to your question.
