Magix Movie Edit Pro 2013 keeps freezing and crashing on me!

I have a problem with this new software I downloaded off of buying it. It keeps freezing and it is very frustrating. I never had this problem with Magix until now. Is it the computer/laptop? What should I do? I need to get to my video editing and it keeps stopping and freezing. ~_~

How do you fix this problem?

Hi,

You have not posted your system specs so I really need to ask, how much RAM do you have, what CPU are you running (single, dual or quad core) and are you trying to edit AVCHD?  We really need to know this stuff to make sure that your system meets the minimum application requirements.  You have no idea how many people say that they are having problems running MEP and they have 1 GB of RAM.

Yes I know how you feel, I upgraded from Movies on DVD to Magix Movie Edit Pro 2013 and am really fed up, wishing I had not spent my hard earned money.  Have tried running it on my Vista machine with abysmal results, so today installed onto my Windows 7 machine with equally terrible results.  Will give it another go tomorrow and if no better will demand my money back.

It's an HP Pavilion dv7-6c60us and it's still new. I downloaded trials and they never failed me. So I read the feedback on amazon and it says this Magix movie edit pro 2013 has worst ratings than the Plus one. I already called the customer service and they agree to refund me. So I'm going to do that. Don't bother trying the trial for this program, the icon with the green and red film thing. That keeps crashing. So dont' bother. Buy the Plus version or the Prox4 one which are more expensive but they work better. So just buy the Plus one.
