Magix LP saver: can you listen while recording?

I am using Magix LP Saver version 2 together with the Magix Audio Cleaning Lab 16 to transfer Vinyl records to MP3 files. I am able to record LPs and export as audio files (e.g. mp3) BUT I can't hear anything while I am recording. The exported mp3 files sound fine (e.g. in the Cleaning lab application or iTunes) but the fact that I cannot hear anything when transferring the vinyl tracks to audio files makes the recording process difficult (e.g. if you want to record selected songs from the vinyl rather than the whole album, you need to hear the music and the breaks between the songs to know when to start recording). I have tried using headphones on the pre-amp that comes with the package but there is no sound. I was hoping that there is a setting in the Magix Audio Cleaning Lab that I can change to make this work

Thanks in advance for any hints / Dan M

I think this is something that your hardware has to support.

So your sound device would need to have the LINE-IN as a playback option so it can play through the computer speakers.

I record my vinyls through a stereo recevier to the line-in, so I hear the music from the stereo speakers and I have the computer speakers muted.

I don't know if you got any answer yet. Here is one:

Double click the loudspeaker icon in activity field of screen.  Rise volume of "Line"
