Magix Logo

I have bought a list of Commercial Use loops for making an album, and I was curious, when it is published, does Magix allow musicians to use their logo on the inside jacket inlay of the album, for software recognition (and free promotion)? I tried to find info on this, but could not anywhere on FAQ or forums. I try to get permission to post it up, for product promotion on the album, with whoever it is I work with, but want to make sure I am okay to do so with Magix.

Thanks,
Michael

This is a very difficult question to answer!

You must certainly ensure you have explicit written agreement from Magix to use their logo on your album jacket, even if you consider such use as promotional publicity for Magix; they may not consider is as such.

At the very least you should contact Customer Service, being very clear about what you want to do and how you want to do it. Because the logo is, of course, copyright to Magix, you would not want to be threatened with legal action for copyright infringement!

Hi Michael,

I don't see what would speak against this, albeit you're by no means obligated to do so.

You can find suitable image files of the logo as part of the press kit on the MAGIX website:

Cheers!
