Hi,

Kernelbase.dll problems occur when important operating system files become misconfigured, deleted or damaged. This is a common problem with computers that don't get maintained regularly. Eventually the system becomes overloaded with problems and begins to crash and display errors.

You need to update your OS, probably clean your registry, which is best done with one of the many software tools out there.  Just be careful that you don't download and install a tool that adds a bunch of tool bars and other what I call nuisiance ware on your system.  The paid applications are usually less prone to this than the free ones are.
