Hello,
Yesterday I downloaded the free version of the Independence Software Workstation V3.3 and the 2GB Free Sample Library. I'm very pleased with it and considering purchasing the Independence Pro Premium Suite with its 70GB of instrument samples.
I run Windows 10. I only have 67 GB free on the C drive. However, I have 1.62 TB left on the D drive. All my other music software has installed the sample libraries to the D drive and just the program to the C drive, but Independence has put the library on the C drive.
I want to run the Independence sample library in Reaper V6.19/x64.
My question falls into two related halves:
First, with the Free Independence I have already downloaded, can I alter the set up so that the Sample Library is on the D drive, freeing up 2 GB of much needed C drive space with just the Workstation on the C drive?
Second, assuming I can do this, will I be able to do the same with Pro Premium Suite with its 70 GB of library, which is too large to fit on my C drive but would easily fit on the D drive?
Assuming this is possible, please give me step-by-step guidance on how to do it (I am more of a musiciasn than an computer expert, so can easily get confused with IT instructions). I will then make the change with the free version. If that is successful I will seriously consider upgrading to the Pro Premium Suite with the same division between the C and D drives.
Thank you in advance for your attention, and I look forward to hearing from you.
Best wishes and a Happy New Year
Andrew
