Magix Edit Pro 17 Plus does not see my DVD Burners

Sigvart wrote on 10/8/2016, 10:49 AM

I upgraded to Windows 10 some time ago but did not try this software until yesterday. When I try to burn a DVD, I get the message "DVDMaker.dll has detected a version conflict. Please contact MAGIX Support. The problem version requires the DLLAV32.DLL version 6.1.124 or higher.

Thanks

Hi

Assuming you mean MEP 17 released on 2010 then it is not compatible with Windows 10 and is no longer supported.

You can try updating the Burn routines with those available here, however this is not guaranteed to work.

If that does not work, then you can try re-installing following this procedure, however this is not guaranteed to work due to incompatability issue.

The best option is to upgrade to a Windows 10 compatible version of Movie Edit Pro.
