Magix Acid Pro Track EQ

Hi guys, wonder if you can help...

I am currently still using Sony Acid Pro 7, due to familiarity and have desires to move to Magix Acid 9.

I have been reading various community forums regarding some of the features in Sony Acid Pro 7 which appear to be missing in
Magix Acid Pro 9.

Two features I am concerned with are:

1.  The ability to add MP3 tracks to the project.  I understand that this issue may be resolved - that you can add MP3 tracks to
the latest Magix Acid Pro update - is this true?

2. I currently edit track EQ in my projects where necessary (please see below example image).  Is this feature available in Magix Acid Pro 9?

I will me loading the software onto my i5 8gb Ram Surface Pro 6

Would be grateful for any guidance provided.

Thanks guys

Hi Wizzo,

1. Yes - mp3 was broken for a period of time for Acid 64 Bit versions. This has been fixed about 8 months ago, and subtle differences due to mp3 decoder incompatibility have been resolved about 2 months ago for all ACID 8 / 9 / Music / Next versions.

2. The directX EQ of ACID Pro 7 is still working in the newer ACID versions, I have just verfified that once more.

You can download the trial version of ACID Pro 9 and test it yourself, if you want.
