Loss of functionality

My Sound Forge 15 (Build 64) running on Windows 10, no longer will run any editing tools & will not save a file. For editing: I get a message saying either the file cannot be located or may not have access to the file. For saving: I get a message saying there was an unknown problem saving the file. I have gone as far as uninstalling/reinstalling the software, re-installing Sound Forge 14, & reinstalling Sound Forge 9. Same issues on all.

Welcome to the Magix Sound Forge users forum @Scott-Whaley.

Try disabling anti-virus, since this is an issue on multiple versions of SF, look to your PC's system settings.

Is it a file format are you attempting to render or is it the same behavior with PCM <.wav> and other formats?
Do PCM and other source media formats exhibit the same behavior?
Have your tried "Save as" to different folders?
