Loop Info

This is an inquiry about Acid Pro 10 on a widows 10 computer. I'm just getting started trying to understand what I can about Acid Loops. Initially I assumed the "Alphabetic Letter" That follows a loop name, indicated the Loop dominant note. With the loop playing, I picked up my well tuned guitar and played the note that followed the loop name. Didn't match. What am I missing? Thanks for any help.

Hi @cjniel1 When you add a loop in to Acid it wont have a root note assigned. You'll need to do that. Right click on a audio event on the timeline, select clip properties, stretch tab, set the root note. Now you can set your project note, next to the tempo or add key changes on the timeline.

So you'd pick the clip root note and project key to be that included in the loop name and it should now be in tune with what you're playing on guitar.
