Hello, I'm new to this today. I just tried to load my own sample into the main sound track grid but when i play it i dont get any sound playing out my laptop for some reason. What do i need to do? Thanks for any help...

Start by watching this tutorial about getting started in MusicMaker. You may see something that helps. Getting started in MMM2015 and 2016 are basically the same.
Which operating system are you using? Which version of MusicMaker? What is your setup for monitoring or playing back sound - both in Windows and in MusicMaker?
You need to look at your setup with Windows playback devices and then under the Program settings in MusicMaker to make sure that you have chosen the correct playback device. I show some of this in the tutorial. Then come back and give us more information.
