@Philip-Wilkinson

Hi,

Which version of Music Maker are you using? The current version of MM2022 is 30.0.4.44.

What do you mean by overwrite? The audio of track 1 changes to be the audio of track 2? Does the object name also change?

Do you understand that when you play back, all tracks play back at the same time, so if both audio objects start at 0 on the timeline, you'll hear both played together, not separately?

On version 30.0.4.44.

Track 1 shows the wav file I have loaded

I then move to track 2 to load a new wav file. When I "open" the new file it puts it in track 1 and overwrites the old wav file.

Maybe I need to do something to make sure I am on track 2 when I load the second one

Hi

. . . . I then move to track 2 to load a new wav file. When I "open" the new file it puts it in track 1 and overwrites the old wav file. . . .

That is the problem - you should be dragging the file either from Windows Explorer, or the File Manager in Music Maker, to the target track.
