How do I load a video recording from SD card into Magix Movie Edit Pro plus? When I push the SD card into the slot on my PC it opens the Movie Edit Pro programme and from there I cannot work out how to transfer the video recording into the programme. I am using a recently purchased Movie Edit Pro plus.

Hi

Best practice means you should work from the SD card directly the files need copying to the PC..

You can copy the video files from the SD card to a folder on your computer using Windows Explorer

OR

Using Movie Edit Pro:

Select File, Record audio/images/video

Select the option indicated in the image below

Select the options in the order shown in the next dialog below

1 and 2  - select the source folder on the SD card

3 - select the destination folder on your computer where you want to save the images.

4 - select the videos to be copied - see note below.

5 - Copies the video from the folder set in 1 and2 to the folder set in 3

The videos should be added to the timeline automatically.

Note:  Memory cards and USB sticks are prone to failure - without copying all the video files to the computer and having backups you risk losing them by formatting or failure of the SD card

I would suggest you read the installed PDF manual available under Help.
