You could try and update your display adaptor drivers to see if that helps you.

or go to command prompt by typing CMD at start menu, right click "run as administrator", Type sfc/scannow and press Enter.

scan checks or scans all protected system files, and then replaces the incorrect versions, with the genuine, correct Microsoft versions.

Is the source of the error code 87 coming from Designer Pro or Windows?

Try a full restart of the computer - ie Windows button, Power icon, Restart then try loading the library.

Hi John I could not find a Xara related error code 87, it comes across as a Windows error with many troubleshooting suggestions.
