Licensing SoundForge 12 in an Offline Environment

asalligo wrote on 7/19/2022, 10:22 AM

Hi, we are using SoundForge 12 in an offline environment and are looking for a method to allow use without the licensing check since this cannot occur. Currently we receive this error message. These machines have no connected to the internet.

An error occurred while creating the media file. There is no license to use this software.

Thanks,

Anthony

AFAIK, SF need to occasionally 'call home' to verify codec licenses and such. If you can connect the PC every few months, that may help. Magix support may have a definitive answer or procedure. Try emailing the company at infoservice@magix.net or request an official Magix Support ticket. It may be a little confusing.. so peruse the instructions from this prior comment:

btw, welcome to the Magix Sound Forge users community @asalligo, it is not a official support conduit.
