Licensing

To Whom It May Concern,

I am rather confused about the licensing. I read the terms from Catooh and I read the terms on Magix site. I have been using various magix projects for over a decade. In the near future my compositions that I have created may be desired for commercial use. I have recently just started using Magix Music Maker, in which I understand that Music Maker is not to be used for commercial use. I am looking to purchase licenses, I am then redirected to Catooh(??). Can you explain this to me?

The question is I have made approximately 10 compositions from Magix Music Maker, where or how do I purchase a license? Do I have to purchase a license for each composition and or sample?

The current products that are registered and that I am using are: Music Maker 17 Premium, Music Maker Movie Score, Music Maker 2016 Live. I have also created numerous compositions with these programs. If I stand corrected, I can copyright the compositions  that I have created as a derivitive work. How do I get licenses for commercial use of these works?

I need a better understanding, so that there will not be no issues nor infringements?

I come from a musical background, from my parents 1960's throw down parties, singing lead in choirs and in groups,  playing the Baritone & Tuba Treble  Clef during the good old days of Junior High & High School Band, and later on in my life, there is  music production.

Most individuals ask what music genre am I. I am eclectic, withstanding I produce music that gives me goose bumbs, stirs my soul, or gives me heart palpitations - easy on the ears and active.

Generally I am a mad scientist when it comes to music, I like to experiment with different sounds and blend all types of genres. Since I have had the wonderful experience of playing instruments in band, my  key signature is the piano. I love piano, it is sophisticated, melodic and piano can blend into any type of music.

Strings gravitates towards feelings, emotions and dramatics, while saxaphones and trumpets are sassy.  I am a bass line lover, so my bass lines will have different variations to change the groove of my instrumental pieces.

So you see I am a bundle of variations, and I hope that you enjoy the experience and the sounds of D-HYNEZ'S music...Blessings to you all and thank you in advance..

Hi,

For a start, if you create the music then it is yours. If you use the Soundpools or someone else's music, then you need the appropriate license. So, what did you use, your own music creations or compilations using Soundpools?

In the latter case, you need the professional license. This is very clear in the licensig terms as shown in Catooh. You can check in Catooh which license that you have for which Soundpools or collections. If there is nothing for what you have, then you need to purchase appropriat license for the pertinent Soundpools.
