I have been using Sound Forge Pro12 for over a year now and this morning it won't let me save any work with a message that there is no license to use this software....where do I go from here?
I did, with same results, sadly. Now, currently stuck as I followed what many others suggested with unistalling and reinstall and now the serial # doesn't match so I can't activate.....this has quickly went to a nightmare scenario.
Recheck your serial code in Magix Service Center/My Products. If it is already on two PCs, deactivate one of them Also your serial code and the email address you used when you registered SF-12 are paired, if they do not match what is in Magix's database, SF will not activate. You can formally request support from the Magix support team or you may try email: infoservice@magix.net .
For uninstalling, a third-party uninstaller is usually recommend that can remove left-over registry entries and other pertinent data the OS uninstall leaves behind, which in usually the root of recurring issues Revo Uninstall and Geek Uninstall are two that have pro and freeware versions.
btw, welcome to the Magix Sound Forge users forum @Audio-Editor.
Thanks for the replies SP.& rraud and the welcome, rraud.
Turned out to be an issue that only the Owner/Admin could solve(small co. I work for). Unistall/Reinstall went smoothly with no loss of plug-ins or presets, etc.
