i'm currently asking myself about sound forge pro 16 and the possibility to buy one licence and/or cd but do i need to buy one licence per computer or is it working with 2 or 3 computers for my personal needs ?

@ben-soul You can install it on any computer you want but only activate it for usage on two computers at a time (The 365 subscription version can only be activated on a single computer).
This means, if you want to activate the program on a third computer, you need to deactivate it on one of the two computers first.
This can be done via the Help menu or via your user account on Magix.com (the website only allowed a limited number of deactivations per month)
You should also be able to buy a third activation slot from customer support for a reduced price if you absolutely need three activations at a time. I did this in the past with a different Magix software and it worked fine.
FWIW, see this recent comment for deactivating-reactivating on more than two PCs.
A second license would allow SF to be simultaneously activated on up to four (4) PCs without the deactivating-reactivating procedure that can have limitations and is a PIA.
