Hi.

You can see above a screenshot of the ASIO4All control panel. Click on the highlighted spanner icon. You will then see a screen similar to the next screenshot. Yours will be different because mine shows my MOTU audio interface, yours will show your audio interface.

Increase (move to the right) the lower highlighted fader (ASIO Buffer Size) until you hear playback without those annoying noises you're experiencing now! You should NOT need to change the highlighted upper right faders (Latency Compensation) UNLESS you do a lot of audio overdubbing and experience the problem of hearing your playing delayed in your headphones; in this case try reducing, moving to the left, either or both of those faders.

Did you try out the WASAPi as well? You may want to use the tool http://www.resplendence.com/latencymon to check for problems regarding to streaming audio in real time.

I have tried repeatedly moving the sample bar until reaching all the way to the right, and although it has improved the performance of the beat, it still has a couple of skips and pops remaining...

Hi.

Did you also try Jack_Magix suggestion of using the WASAPI driver?

However, what you have not told us in anything in detail about your computer. Please read this post https://www.magix.info/uk/forum/please-do-the-following-before-posting-your-question--621831/ and supply all the information requested there.

I have to say that if changing those buffer settings in ASIO4All has not resolved your problem and you have tried the WASAPI driver (assuming you're running an up to date operating system) then I suspect your computer may not be sufficiently powerful to enable you to achieve flawless playback.

The best solution would be an audio interface with its own asio driver.
