Latency issues in Pro 7

I don't have this problem in Pro 4.0 but I have horrible Windows 10 issues in Pro 4 so I'm trying Pro 7 again to see if Windows 10 handled the latency issues I had years ago when I bought Pro 7. Nope. Is there anything I can try in any settings? It gets worse/more off the longer the recorded clip. Any thoughts? Using Mackie Onyx Blackjack USB interface. No issues with that on any other program. Is there a way to try out the current version of Pro to test it for latency w/o buying it?

Hi @UGB - you can find the download for a free trial for Acid Pro 8 at the Acid Pro 8 product page - https://www.magix.com/gb/music/acid-pro/

Thank you very much. Will download and test it out. I REALLY like the Acid product and would hate to have to learn a new DAW.

Downloaded it and tested it, quickly, but so far everything works PERFECTLY!!!! So do I just upgrade from 7.0 or buy 8.0? How does that work?

There is an upgrade option on the link i provided earlier. I've not gone through this process personally, but I would expect at some point you will need to provide your AP7 registration details to check that you are eligible for an upgrade license.

It looks like the upgrade would be $99. I'll just have to figure out how to do that with either the version 8 I already have or uninstall it and then try to upgrade from Pro 7? I don't know.

@UGB - sorry, I'm not too familiar with the upgrade process myself so I'm not able to assist. https://www.magix.com/gb/support/customer-service/#c68526 has more information. Follow the link to contact customer service, they should be able to help guide you through the upgrade process.
