Latency During MIDI Recording

VWC wrote on 4/14/2020, 3:49 PM

When I try to record MIDI using the MS GS Wavetable Synth I experience severe latency no matter which driver or setting I use. I've tried Magix Low Latency, ASIO4ALL, and Focusrite USB ASIO drivers with pretty much the same results. Is there anything i can do to fix this besides using a different synth as some of my projects require General MIDI?

Yes im having the same problem. Finding it frustrating using the Magix virtual instruments in Music Studio 2020. I have tried switching between Asio4All and two other low latency magix drivers..all the same problem. I am wandering if its the Ms Gs Wavetable or that a more powerful system processor would work better. Also some issues with slow loading of the Vitual Instruments and volume so low on playback and for recording. A real pain!!

HAVE YOU FOUND ANY RESOLUTIONS YET??
