Since the studio updated to the 2023 version, every time i add background music without fail once the file is exported it leaves off the last 2 minutes of backing track. Has this happened to anyone else or does anyone know a fix
@paul-collis I can only see a bit of track 4, whats on tracks 1,2 & 3, make the preview window smaller so it shows the full project, all tracks, & the +/- or the <-> bottom right to show from start to finish,
PS that frame rate is weird 31.3725 ?

@paul-collis I've got to go out, but there's an App called MediaInfo, download it, it's free & a fast download with no added adverts or any of that rubbish. https://mediaarea.net/en/MediaInfo
After downloading, right click on the media file in your Windows folder ( do both, the video & audio), open MediaInfo, choose Text from the options at the top, Copy & paste the information in a new comment on here 👍

@paul-collis That MediaInfo says the video Frame Rate - 25 fps, but your Export says Frame Rate - 31.3725, your export ideally should be the same Frame Rate as the video 25fps, I don't think this would cut 2mins off the audio though,
I still need a Full screen capture -
' I can only see a bit of track 4, whats on tracks 1,2 & 3, make the preview window smaller so it shows the full project, all tracks, & the +/- or the <-> bottom right to show from start to finish,'
The bit rate for the video section is way too small for a 1920 x 1080 export if the video portion contains anything other than a static image.
As Gid has pointed out the export setting you show does not match the frames per second of the export but not only that the duration of the video portion says 10mins but the audio portion is saying 7 minutes 58 seconds. And the audio is using a kb/s amount not even select-able in any of the drop down menus. You in fact selected to use 128kb/s. That alteration of the exported audio to 132kb/s is something I have never seen happen before to an audio segment.
Which begs the question of why are you selecting and altering the settings from one of the selections of the drop-down export menu? What did you alter?
Ray.

@paul-collis@CubeAce I'm confused, think i just realised that MediaInfo is of the exported vid? I was asking for info of the orig media that's been added on the timeline,
The issue with the loss of audio on export is, I suspect caused by one, or more, of the source videos is variable framerate - this would also account for the odd export framerate setting if the project settings were set to match the imported video.
In the mediaInfo analysis text view you see this line in the video section:
Frame rate mode : Variable
then the source video(s) need converting to constant framerate using a program such as Handbrake or Avidemux.
