Just recently program will not open, asks to register product again

Program will not open, it asks to register product, (Sound Forge Pro 10), next it asks if changes can be made to device, I say yes and nothing happens after that, this program has been installed already for 2 years of usage and just recently this started happening. I did try uninstalling program and reinstalling and the same thing occurs.

This is likely the infamous 'Elevated Privilege' issue which affects Sound Forge 10 after (some) Windows 10 updates (if fact it just happened again yesterday on my Win 10 PC).

This can be addressed in two ways but there are caveats to both. See this post which has an additional link to the more complex fix.
