Just purchased and downloaded the upgrade for Music Maker Premium Edition 2021 however it will not load VST plugins and it is stuck on loading at 56%. Please help.

After installation and activation, did you install all the Extra Content that was unlocked and became available under the Downloads tab after activation?

I didn't have to go through the activation process due to already having Music Maker Plus Edition. This was an upgrade. I clicked on the download. It ran the download, installation, etc. and then it restarted my computer. I double clicked on the icon and it started loading. That is when it started running the VST Plug-in scan. I just now decided to skip the plug-in to load the DAW. However, I think I am missing some plug-ins and additional tracks (it's only showing 4 tracks).

Which version on Plus do you have? Did you pay for the upgrade?
As @Graham-Hawker has intimated, because the 2021 version of MM is the first 64 bit release and so a new program, once installed it has to be activated by inserting the serial/activation key you would have received when your bought the upgrade. Activation keys for older versions do NOT work for MM 2021, although they do allow you to continue to use the soundpools, instruments, features etc. from those older versions in MM2021. Without using the 2021 activation key your MM 2021 is actually the Free version.
