Hi,

Firs read user manual on page number 8 it says

Connect usb cable from computer to MPD32 so you should do that I do not think there is Driver to be installed but if you got first install driver as per instruction.

After that open Magix Music Maker which version do you use?

When Magix Music Maker is open click "P" on key board a Program settings under Audio/Midi will be opened on the right choose from drop down menu Out put and Input device MPD32 then at the left side

Audio Playback and ASIO driver choose  whatever suits you because your MPD32 got no sound you will have to use Music Maker's.

After that click OK and leave. Now go to computer control panel and click on Sound then click on RECORD tab then choose your Akai Midi by clicking and press OK.

For other detials check these two pdf
