It is playing back after complete finish movie/save computer export

I have just purchased and installed the Magix Rescue Your Video Tapes Version 9 (HD). All is well except that when you are finishing movie and saving on the computer, after completion of export, it opens the movie and starts playing back. I don't want it to automatically playback the movie. It must just save it to movies and I will decide when to play it back. My old Magix did this.

How do I stop it automatically playing back after successful Export, it is very annoying and can be very embarrassing if the movie you are editing is not appropriate for your audience at the time.

Welcome to the Magix user to user forums.

I don't have RYVT but I do have both Movie Edit Pro and Video Pro X. On the Export screen of both there is a box which can be ticked, to allow or not allow playback of the exported video to start as soon as it is complete. Does the Export screen of RYVT have a similar box?

However, and this has been commented on before, even if that box (in both MEP and VPX) is not ticked (so that playback should NOT start immediately after export) it does, always! Perhaps RYVT has the same problem.

So, it may be that you will simply need to be careful about who is present when an export is ending if a completed export may not be appropriate to show.

Yes though not on the same rescue my tapes version I can also confirm that in both MEL and VPX that it still plays out the final rendered export regardless of whether one had check play out afterwards or not so yes I think that this is definitely a bug. For me It is no biggie. Kinda confirms that the export went ok coming back to the screen seeing VLC open and blank. Knowing it had completed without errors and played back. Albeit to a silent audience. I😀
