Issues with Latest Update

I accepted the latest update for Magix Samplitude Pro X5 Suite 16.2.0.412 (DP3) and have observed the following changes
- System occasionally freezes & wont work again unless terminated and re-started
- Recording sound audio is now buggy with wave forms having patches and often throwing error pup-ops
Above 2-defects are not in previous version & am now concerned on overall impact of this on new/existing work.

I need advice on work-around or timeline for next update; pls help.
