Just wondering how to use more tracks than just 8 because every time I try to add more than 8 nothing happens. Are you limited to 8 or can you add more, it's just less than straight forward to do though?

If you have the free version, 8 tracks is all you get. With Plus, you get 99 tracks, unlimited with Live and Premium. Press on E to bring up the Project Settings and set the number of tracks that you want, unless you have the free version, of course.
I get the same issue and am running version 25.1.0.59 , Just purchased the 2018 ... It also won't update and errors saying I need to install Magix Music maker ... It's not playing nice with me

Please open for that the next time a new thread, since you are talking about a different version.
Did you unlocked your version? and did you unlocked the functions in the in-app-store?
With the new music maker you got depending on the purchased version a number of function/presets/instruments and soundpool paths. To unlock them go in the in-app-store and than "buy" the article.
On the bottom of the in-app store you can see how many free functions/instruments/soundpools and presets are left.
I feel embarrassed now ... I found out I had to actually go to the store and download all the content with this version rather than it already coming with all the upgrades .. I appreciate the reply though

Nothing seems to work, I have to previous versions on my PC and upgraded to Plus, it will not allow me more than 8 tracks. As you can see I have the Plus version unlocked but for some reason it does not work
In my email I used the download link and also the serial to unlock and again nothing
Can anyone assist before I file a Paypal dispute?

Did you even read what I wrote in this thread or in my tutorial? You didn't show us that you activated the functions, instruments, soundpools and presets. You only showed the activated plus version, not more.

I have all the sound pools 1 with 5 pools worth $49, the 5 instruments, used 1 of the 3 vouchers etc

OK I see it now, it was not coming up before where you have to unlock the "Unlimited tracks"
