Idqante,

Select your clip and go to 'Effects' >> 'Movement effects' >> 'Rotation/mirror' and you'll find the straighten horizon option. You may want to zoom in slightly as well if the rotation makes black edges.

Regards,

Carl

'Effects' >> 'Movement effects' >> 'Camera/zoom'.

Try also 'Help' from top menus and search for 'Zoom'!

Thank you very usefull information. One more question, is there a way to make the change slowly when editing the video? here is my situation. Only a part in the midle of the video that i recorded is not straight. I want to only straigthen that part of the video. I edtted the video and applied what you suggested and it looks good, but the change is so noticeable when vieweing. I did tis; I cutted only that part of the video, then I selected that portion and applied what you suggested, but when viewing it doesnt look right. Thanlks

"Only a part in the middle of the video that i recorded is not straight. "

I think you had better study how to use Keyframe Animation. This is the tool you need for this operation, but you must not expect to be an expert in a couple of minutes. Practice  makes perfect!  ( Take a look in the handbook as well, it could be a good start!)

Thanks, I can't figure this thing out. Im able to align the video but its doing all the track. I cutted the part i want to align and just aligned that section and i can do it, but because i zoom that part when I go back previous to that section and preview the video you can see where it changes, the transaction is not smooth. Do you know of a tutorial of where i can learn this? I really need help. Thanks

Gradual changes to effects are done with the 'keyframe animation' already suggested by asoeli. With it you can specify how much rotation and zoom are applied at various times across your clip. Do a search for 'keyframe' in either the help file or the pdf manual (installed in the same folder as the program) to get started.

Carl

Hi, Place the video on two tracks and align. On the lower track use : Effects>movement>Rotation and straighten the video, use Zoom if needed. Than Use NewBlue plugin to give a vignette efffect to the video on the lower track, with all side being transparent. (Like croping).

Trial & Error method will work fine till you get somewhat the desired effect.

All the best.
