Is my video editing software compatible with Windows 8 Pro?

I would like to know if Magix Video Deluxe MX and all the programs that comes in the package is compatible with Windows 8 Pro, because I’m thinking to upgrade my O.S. to Windows 8 Pro, my O.S. now is Windows 7 Home Premium and the program works well with it, but I have not upgraded yet not until I know for sure what you guys have to say about it. Thanks a lot and have a nice day! Best Regards

Hi

If you search the Windows 8 compatibilty site here you will see that MX is stated as being compatible, however several users are reporting problems with DVD burners on WIndows 8 with various earlier versions of MEP.

If you have a spare hard drive I would use Clonezilla to clone or image your existing hard drive and once you have verified the copy or image as being good, then try upgrading to Win 8.

If you get problems you can use Clonezilla again to restore the image or clone the hard drive copy back to your main drive.
