While Avid, After Effects and Final Cut Pro are industry standards, the interface for video pro X2 is extremely user friendly. The question I have is whether or not video pro X2 is TRUTHFULLY suitable for a full-lenth feature film, whether shot on AV/HD or 2 Digital. This would have to include massive amounts of special effects, sound effects and the like. Additionally, does X2 offer plug ins for high end sources like Video Co-Pilot, After Effects, Magic Bullet, etc.??? While X2 is certainly fine for wedding videographers, can a professional filmmaker rely on it or is professonal film making (considering that the film would be released theatrically) beyond the scope and power of the program? Please let me know as I am actually in the final phase of considering which program to use (money is not the issue: it is the user interface with magix that I love...and I'm loyal: I love to give the opportunity to the company I've stood by for so long).
BTW, love all of your music maker software and movie edit pro 15: lotta fun to work with. Would love to hear from you guys soon. Thanks, Gene Lythgow
