Is Magix Movie Edit Pro 10 Still A Good Standard For Mastering?

Especially with not being able to get a job anywhere for a long time I've been working at trying to get doing recording for money where I go out with  equipment of mine to record live bands and video record special occasion events, and I every once in a while come accross a singer/musician who sounds like they might be interested in having me record them, but then they end up asking if I got a software I'm just not able to afford unless things turn around better moneywise like Pro Tools. I intend to do the initial live band recording with a Zoom 16 track multi track recorder, and then do the mastering in my Magix Movie Edit Pro 10. The sound card I'm using with Magix is a Creative Sound Blaster Live. Since Magix Movie Edit Pro 10 has been the best I've been able to afford that can also be used for audio multi track recording, is there any other singers and musicians on here who've still found Magix Movie Edit Pro 10 to still be a pretty good enough standard for mastering? I can't help hoping so, so that I can still have a good word on that to give a church pastors wife possibly interested in having me do recording for a CD of songs she wants to get out, because of her also being one who asked me if I had Pro Tools that by what I've heard about sounds too expensive for me to afford.

For master, definitely check out Samplitude or Samplitude Producer for mastering audio.
You can then drop the audio into MEP and synchronize.
The audio editing features in MEP10 are old IMO.  MEP16 is maybe a little better, but for dedicated audio mastering, then you should check out Samplitude.
