Is it possible to search for a loop in Soundpool Collections?

I'm using MM 14 Premium. I used a loop called SailAway early in my composition.  I then wanted to used it later in the piece.  I tried using the search function next to "Catooh" above/right of the Soundpools window but every time it came back with no such loop.

I know it's in one of my collections since I already used it.  Is there a way to find it again?

Hi,

Try under:

C:\Users\Public\Documents\MAGIX\Common\Soundpools\MAGIX Soundpool 18 DVD Collection\Ambient Vol. 9\Sequence

There you should find, amongst others:

SailAway 1.OGG
SailAway 2.OGG
SailAway 3.OGG
SailAway 4.OGG
SailAway 5.OGG
SailAway 6.OGG
SailAway 7.OGG

You should get and install the simple free program called Everything or Search Everything. It will search on all of your drives.

Thanks, John.  Interesting that you have to go outside the program to find loops.  I had searched using the Win 10 search box (Cortana).  It found an HDP file and, when I clicked it opened sailaway in Music Editor.  Again, no reference where to find the loop with a properties component in the various menus. But, after reading your answer I right clicked on the HDP file instead of opening it in Music Editor.  Right clicking windows search gives an option for "open in file location."  That worked like a charm!  Thanks.
