Fading in a text object can be accomplished easily: When in timeline mode, just use the "fade-in" handle in the upper left-hand corner of the text/title object in question and drag it to the right-hand side to set the fade-in duration (just like you would with audio or video/photo objects). For other possibilities to make the text appear on the screen (e.g. scrolling it into the visible area), check out the different presets in the Title Editor. Unfortunately, it's not obvious which Magix program you're using, but if you have Movie Edit Pro and you're willing to invest some time, sweat and experimentation, you can gain total control over the different parameters of your text object and achieve nice custom effects by using the object curve effects/keyframe animation feature.

I am assuming that the answer below didn't resolve your issue as you have listed it under Internet and Website, and the writer appeared to refer to video editing. I will assume that you are using Website Maker, and try my best to answer!

The simple answer is, no, you can't fade in text as you would in say Powerpoint or video editors, but you can create a similar effect.

You have two options. Either using the Text Effect option - which creates a box of text that you can edit, stretch etc. etc., but which responds to one of a number of styles (dependent on your version). These do things like jumble up the letter, then put them back, have them bounce in, have a band pass across them etc. May not be what you are looking for, but will add some interest.

The other option can be used either on the Text Effect box you have created, or on a normal text box. Under properties, select "Animation" and there are some further enhancements in there which will create something, although not a fade as such.

Hope this is useful to you!
