Is HEVC supported?

I was just wondering if / when will importing of HEVC videos be supported. Currently I have to convert them to a compatible format. This is the case for some GoPro Hero 6 footage?

Hi, welcome to the Magix forums.

Since Fastcut is, I understand, "free" software and the HEVC codec is not, I very much doubt whether the import of HEVC footage to Fastcut will ever be supported.

But I paid for the premium version of it. So I would expect it to provide the ability to import video footage in that format. Just like the "free" gopro quik software. As the premium part of fastcut would effectively be the ability to have extra templates.
