Is Activation Code time-limited?

I bought Magix Audio Cleaning Lab 15 deluxe over a year ago.

I have not used it for several months.

Now when I start Magix I am told "trial Version Expired"

When I put in the Activation Code I was sent when I bought it, when I click on Activate, nothing happens.

So the question is - when I buy Magix, am I able to use it for ever? Or is it only a license to use it for one year?
