Irritating POP up !!!

grahamm7 wrote on 8/26/2022, 3:34 AM

I have just updated to Magix Movie Editor 2022 now called Movie Studio. When I boot up I get an irritating pop up advertising the offers on Movie Studio and Music studio etc... Come on Magix I have bought 2022. I have tried turning off things to stop this but don't know why it is popping up on boot up and login. Any ideas of how I can get rid of this irritating advertising feature.

Hi

This is a very common practice now, I have several programs from different manufacturers that do thiis.

To get rid of the message uninstall Magix Cloud, also known as Update Notitier, Magix Connect, and Network Sync.

In the program settings also check the Hide news option in the Program settings, System tab..

I have deleted the cloud etc.. But I still get this Pop up. I did start to look at notifications. It is really annoying as i have just updated to the 2022 Magix that it keep offering me to upgrade to!! I do realise that one gets adverts but this is out of order to a loyal customer who has the product. Maybe there is somewhere that I still have to turn off or do I have to wait till they stop the offer??

Hi

. . . . I have deleted the cloud . . . .

Do you mean deleted or uninstalled?

Check in Windows, Settings, Apps that you do not an older version, different name still installed - also there is a version called Magix Cloud Import.
