I am glad to be on this platform, i'm completely new to professional video editing, i would like to know the basic requirements to succeed in video editing. I have studied Film (In front of the camera) but now i seriously want to master the art of editing. Please advise me, what do i require to succeed.

First, tell us precisely which MAGIX program you are using.
Second, check the Help files included with your program.
Third, do a search on YouTube for videos explaining how to use your specific program.
