Intro/Outro (free) Movie Clips - lost?

After spending hours, I have finally located just a few of the ‘many free’ Intro/Outro movie clips – not sure about the movie templates though – that originally came with my MEP. (IMPORT>MY MEDIA>PROJECTS but then even the easy first view that I thought used to be there, is not there any more.)

I recently had to re-install MEP but my current version is 17.0.1.141 and, have checked, there is no additional content to download.

There are a number of Intro/Outro movie clips on Catooh that I used to have within MEP but cannot now locate. Are they actually somewhere else or no longer part of the new program? Has anyone else noticed this and found a solution?

Hi George.

I think you will find the Intros and Outros that you seek now under the Templates tab. Check its dropdown menu for "Intro/Outro animations".

I did find a dropdown menu but the one I found, only takes me to seeing what is available in the Store for me to then purchase, and not those that had been previously freely available and that came with the program.

Unless of course they are not available anymore following the recent upgrades, I do though still have the disc for MEP 2016 and it maybe my best option to re-install that version to be able to access these free Intro's/Outros but this time make sure I find where they have been saved & make a copy elsewhere so that they are not lost should I uninstall MEP 2016 in the future.

There is no harm in trying this, hopefully MEP Premium will then recognise and allow access the Intros/Outros from it as well.

Hi George.

When I click on the Templates tab then the dropdown for Intro/Outro animations I see the following screen with at least the outlined icon visible (the others are additional ones I have downloaded as freebies):

Clicking on the outlined icon leads to this page:

Do you not see any of these?

I keep looking but no, I cannot see anything like that. I also can't see that Intros/Outros icon that you have highlighted.

Above is all I seem to see - the Store. Nothing else at all.

Hi George,

You mentioned that there was nothing to download, but there must have been. Go under Help, Install extra content, and click on the button under Free downloads - Download extra content.

Then you should get this:

Check everything and the press on Continue. You are missing all of the content.

Funny, yes I had already seen that screen and downloaded everything !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! or so I thought.

Had also checked a few times since and nothing was showing as being available to download. This time though?? I clicked on that 'Download extra content' button, and a list then became available and whilst I had seen them all at some stage before, all the various options, this time they were installed.

So once again, thankyou very much. I now have the additional free content.

I have already downloaded the "extra content" and installed it ... twice. When I preview an Intro or Outro most of them will start with a beach scene, then that Intro/Outro WON'T add to my timeline. Only about 4 work properly.

Any thoughts / suggestions as to what / where the problem is ? T.I.A.

You have posted basically the same question to your other thread. Please do not create "parallel" threads since it makes it very difficult for would responders to know to which thread they should reply.

I appreciate the video you have attached here very much helps to show what it is you want.

However, I'm going to close this thread and would suggest you post your video to your other thread, which I see has actually received a reply.
