Internal error

I have “MAGIX movie edit pro 2014” and I’m trying to open a project on it (that already has clips and sounds saved in the project) but when I try to open the project it says “internal error. No ProjectInfo in DeleteUndoProject. File .\intern_Pl.cpp. Line: 1955.” How do I fix it and make it not say that anymore?

@Gregory-Richardson

Hi and welcome to the forum

The error message indicates the program start-up settings file may be corrupt.

Start Movie Edit Pro and create a new project, then select File, Settings, Reset program settings to default.

This should fix the issue, however do note that if you have made any changes to the default folders locations these will be reset.

If the problem still occurs with the project you are trying to load then the project itself may be corrupt. If so you may have backups available - the files will have a name that looks something like this

Project name_BAK0.MV_  - where the number is in the range 0 - 9

try loading the latest BAK file.

Note the backups are cyclic, ie the number starts at 0 and increments to 9, then starts at 0 again - this means the latest is not necessarily the higher number - use the date/time of the file to find the latest version and work backwards from there if necessary to get a successful load.

If you do get a backup file to load save the project with a new name before doing any editing.
