Interface/ UI

Hi all,

I've recently purchased this program to make custom sound tracks for syncing up to video. While composing sound tracks you can click on the bottom right corner for the following -Peak meter, Video, Overview, Info box. Now when I choose another sample/loop to add it auto changes to Peakmeter. As I'm syncing to video it's getting frustrating having to click on the video tab constantly. Is there anyway that you can take off the auto change function for this section?

Thanks for the help,

Regards,

Chris

I do not do video, but here is a good possibility.  (I am using MM-15)

First, open MMM.  Then, go to File > Settings > Program Settings OR simply hit the 'Y' key.

Go to the Video tab.  On the right side under Options, check the box next to, "Video has priority over audio during playback".

Unfortunately, that's more for the system when it's playing back, i.e. make the Video render as priority over the audio etc :( Not on the showing of the video tab by default and not auto changing it. Cheers for the reply though.

Oh well...It was worth a shot.  I had a feeling that might be the case, but without any real documentation of these features, it was just a guess.

The only other option I can see is to use the "V" keyboard shortcut.

Perhaps not much of an improvement, but it could save time and frustration when it becomes second nature.

Yes, it bugs me too !

I have spent some time experimenting but I can't find a way to lock the video window ... I don't think the option exists
